Today, Clinica 360 includes an outpatient segment, a wide range of medical and surgical specialties, a day hospitalization unit organized into 4 rooms with beds, a post-anesthesia care unit, and an endoscopy department. Additionally, the clinic is equipped with a medical testing collection point and a functional explorations department. We believe that medical service safety, combined with dedication and commitment to patient care and quality of life, are the principles that help us become a benchmark of excellence in the medical field in which we operate.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key differentiator<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>1. Interventional Endoscopy<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We have expanded the range of services available to our patients by introducing advanced endoscopic procedures that enable the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tract disorders through minimally invasive techniques:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ERCP is a minimally invasive procedure that combines endoscopic technique and radiologic imaging to examine and treat conditions affecting the bile and pancreatic ducts. A side-viewing endoscope is inserted through the mouth into the duodenum (the first part of the small intestine). Once the duodenal papilla is identified\u2014the site where the bile and pancreatic ducts empty\u2014a contrast agent is introduced via catheter under X-ray guidance, allowing clear visualization of the ducts.<br \/>\nThe papilla is then incised (<i>sphincterotomy<\/i>), enabling access for instruments to treat bile duct stones, tumors, or strictures.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>ERCP with Biliary Stent Placement<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Patients with malignant biliary or pancreatic tumors often present with symptoms such as biliary obstruction or delayed gastric emptying due to tumor invasion. Surgical resection is the only curative option, but at diagnosis, only 15\u201320% of these tumors are resectable. In most cases, palliative treatment is necessary. Interventional endoscopy, particularly biliary stenting, plays a crucial role in symptom management.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Endoscopic Removal of Foreign Bodies<\/b><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Endoscopic Stenting<\/b> <i>(Esophageal \/ Gastric \/ Colonic)<\/i><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Polypectomy using EMR (Endoscopic Mucosal Resection)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EMR is a minimally invasive procedure used to remove precancerous or early-stage cancerous lesions\u2014commonly polyps\u2014from the digestive tract. It allows for removal of the lesion while preserving the organ\u2019s structure.<br \/>\nDepending on lesion location, EMR is performed during either upper endoscopy (examining the esophagus, stomach, or duodenum) or colonoscopy (examining the colon).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Polypectomy using ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection)<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ESD is an advanced minimally invasive procedure designed for the <i>en bloc<\/i> resection of large, complex, or submucosa-invading precancerous and early-stage cancerous lesions. Unlike EMR, which may require piecemeal removal, ESD allows for removal of the entire lesion in one piece.<br \/>\nThis enables the pathologist to assess resection margins precisely\u2014both lateral and deep\u2014helping to ensure complete removal and achieving a <b>zero recurrence rate<\/b> when margins are tumor-free.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. Video Capsule Endoscopy (VCE)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>VCE is a non-invasive diagnostic procedure that uses a tiny camera\u2014roughly the size of a vitamin capsule\u2014to capture images of the digestive tract. As the capsule naturally moves through the gastrointestinal system, it transmits thousands of images to a receiver worn on the patient\u2019s belt.<br \/>\nThis method is particularly useful for diagnosing conditions of the <b>small intestine<\/b>, an area difficult to access via traditional endoscopy or colonoscopy.<\/p>\n<p><b>3. Allurion Gastric Balloon<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The <b>Allurion Gastric Balloon<\/b> is a non-surgical, swallowable weight-loss device designed to reduce food intake and support long-term lifestyle changes. Unlike conventional gastric balloons, it requires <b>no endoscopy or anesthesia<\/b> for placement or removal.<br \/>\nThe balloon is enclosed in a vegetarian capsule attached to a thin catheter.
