Dr. Carmen Ionica is a physician with extensive experience in general surgery and a quality manager for healthcare services, with a professional focus primarily on endoscopic investigations and therapeutic digestive endoscopy.
She has extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery and oncological surgery, applying modern and minimally invasive methods for patient treatment.
Throughout her career, she has served as the Head of the General Surgery Department at Ploiești County Hospital, where she coordinated medical teams and significantly contributed to the development of the surgical activity of the unit.
Dr. Ionica was the first physician in Prahova County to perform the Rafaelo procedure, perfecting modern techniques for hemorrhoid treatment.
She also coordinates a program dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle and diet, specializing in the placement of intragastric balloons for weight loss.
She is a member of the Romanian College of Physicians and regularly participates in national and international congresses, being actively involved in continuous medical education and quality improvement projects in healthcare
