Following investments and expansions in 2009, the pharmacy and medical laboratory began operations, and in early 2010, the first private maternity in Mureș County, as well as the surgery, cardiology, and interventional radiology departments opened.
In 2015, Nova Vita expanded its range of medical services by opening the Imaging Center, equipped with General Electric’s state-of-the-art medical equipment, some of the most advanced in the medical field: MRI, CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound.
In 2018, a monoloc hyperbaric chamber was purchased from Perry Baromedical, Sigma 36 model, the most advanced hyperbaric chamber, the only one on the market capable of supporting a pressure of 3 ATA (absolute atmospheres) with 100% oxygen and continuous ventilation.
In 2019, Nova Vita’s Imaging Center acquired a unique machine in Europe: the Longtail Digital X-Ray Imaging Detector, allowing a Spinal X-ray Examination with 3 Segments through a single radiation exposure and a Full Leg X-ray Examination in the same manner.
Thus, Nova Vita Medical Center strengthens its position on the medical services market, becoming one of the largest private hospitals in Transylvania, with over 150 beds.
