In 1995, we introduced the first semi-automated biochemistry analyzer in our Galați laboratory, and shortly afterward, we added a semi-automated hormone testing analyzer. During the 1990s, we gradually moved away from outdated practices in clinical laboratories and adopted automated systems.
Today, in most laboratories around the world, tests are processed using automated and semi-automated equipment. Manual methods are largely a thing of the past, now mostly found in specialized fields such as microbiology.
Medicotest stays up-to-date with technological advancements in the field through ongoing collaboration with our suppliers, who are accredited by both national and international organizations. The analyzers and reagents used by Medicotest laboratories come exclusively from internationally renowned companies
